Bonnet and engine compartment
Left and right-hand drive cars.
Opening the bonnet
To open the bonnet:
Pull the handle on the far left under the
dashboard. You will hear when the catch
releases.
Insert your hand under the centre of the
front edge of the bonnet and press up the
safety catch.
Open the bonnet.
Engine compartment
The appearance of the engine compartment
may vary slightly due to engine variant. How-
ever, the components listed are in the same
positions.
1. Expansion tank, cooling system.
2. Power steering fluid reservoir.
3. Washer fluid reservoir.
4. Engine oil dipstick.
5. Radiator.
6. Radiator fan.
7. Engine oil filler pipe.
8. a) Clutch/brake fluid reservoir (left-hand
drive car).
b) Clutch/brake fluid reservoir (right-
hand drive car).
9. Relay/fuse box.
10. Air filter. (The cover has a different
design depending on engine variant.)
11. Battery (in cargo area).
WARNING!
Check that the bonnet locks properly
when closed.
