14 Shutdown
14.1 Temporary decommissioning

page 45.
14.1.1 Machine
In order to avoid possible damage, the following points must
be observed:
• Always store the machine, rechargeable battery and charger sepa-
rately.
• Do not store near any flammable materials.
• Do not store outdoors.
• Store dry and free of dust.
• Protect from direct sunlight.
• Protect against freezing temperatures. Observe storage temperature
range, see Technical data on page 56.
• Store in a locked place that is not accessible to children.
14.1.2 Accumulator
NOTICE
Property damage due to self-discharge of the accumulator
The self-discharge rate is approx. 3 % per month. Deep discharge can
cause damage to the cells or loss of capacity.
► Store the accumulator with a charge condition of approx. 30 %.
► Check charge condition every six months.
► Charge the rechargeable battery.
