4.2.7 Pictograms
The pictograms for the 3 washing programmes can be changed in this menu.
Changing the pictograms has no effect on parameters such as programme length or temperatures.
4.2.8 Basic cleaning
The menu-guided basic cleaning programme is used for the thorough cleaning of wash items:
– Removal of starch residues from dishes
– Basic cleaning of new glasses
– Removal of residues on glasses
We recommend running the basic cleaning programme at the end of the working day, as the machine’s tank is emptied
when the programme ends. This programme requires a basic cleaner that is suitable for commercial warewashers. For
dishes, Winterhalter recommends the A 20 ST basic cleaner, and for glasses the A 25 GL basic cleaner.

Risk of chemical burns due to chemicals
Contact of chemicals with the skin or eyes can lead to severe burns or serious eye damage.
Ø In the event of contact with the eyes or skin, wash thoroughly with tap water. If necessary, seek medical
attention.
Ø Wear protective clothing, protective gloves and protective goggles.
Ø Observe the danger and safety notes on the canister and safety data sheet.
Starting the basic cleaning programme
Follow dosing recommendations when adding the basic cleaner. The initial dose for the first use of the programme de-
pends on the machine’s tank volume.
The post-dosing for each additional programme depends on the rinse water volume.
