6.3.2 Motor connection
Mounting of the PTC
Variant A : Variant B :
1. Open the cover of the conduit box and remove also the terminal block inside
2. Fix the PTC (Variant A or B)
3. Remounting of the terminal block
4. Electrical connection of the motor cables
The PTC should be fixed to the metal compound of the motor. This is necessary to
measure the right temperature of the motor!
The connection of the motor cable depends on the type of the motor and can be done in star-
or delta connection.
The right connection for the motor has to be selected as shown on the motor label according
to the output voltage of the HYDROVAR.
