Sending an independent mix to the
monitor speakers
1 Set the MONITOR section MASTER con-
trol to the “√√
√√
” position.
2 Raise the MONITOR controls for the chan-
nels that you wish to hear from the moni-
tor speakers.
3 Use the graphic equalizers and MASTER
controls of the MAIN/MONITOR sections
to adjust the overall volume and tone.
Using an external effect
1 Raise the EFFECT controls for the channels
to which you want the external effect to
be applied.
2 Adjust the input level of the external
effect so that the sound is not distorted at
the input of the external effect.
3 Use the MAIN section AUX IN control to
adjust the level of the sound processed by
the effect.
Note: The MONITOR controls are not affected
by the level settings of each channel. This allows
you to create a mix that is independent of the
MAIN section.
