4. HANDLEBAR
A: Install the handlebar so that its
upper part is horizontal as
shown in the illustration.
B: Install each handlebar holder
with its punch mark facing for-
ward.
CAUTION:
_
First tighten the bolts on the
front side, and then tighten the
bolts on the rear side.
C: Tighten the bolts to specifica-
tion.

5. FRONT BRAKE
MASTER CYLINDER
A: Contact the master cylinder to
the projection on the handle-
bar as shown.
B: Tighten the bolts to specifica-
tion.
NOTE:

Make sure that the “UP” mark
on the bracket is pointed
upwards.
●
Install the brake master cylin-
der so that the gap between
the brake master cylinder and
the bracket is equal on both
sides.
C: Check the brake lever for
smooth operation.
WARNING
_
Proper hose routing is essen-
tial to assure safe machine
operation. Refer to “CABLE
ROUTING”.

4. GUIDON
A: Monter le guidon de sorte que le
haut de la barre soit à l’horizon-
tale, comme illustré.
B: Monter les demi-paliers de gui-
don en dirigeant leur repère poin-
çonné vers l’avant.
ATTENTION:
_
Serrer d’abord les vis situées à
l’avant, puis serrer les vis situées à
l’arrière.
C: Serrer les vis au couple spécifié.

5. MAÎTRE-CYLINDRE DE
FREIN AVANT
A: Le maître-cylindre doit toucher la
saillie du guidon comme illustré.
B: Serrer les vis au couple spécifié.
N.B.:
_

S’assurer que le repère “UP” du
demi-palier est dirigé vers le
haut.
●
Monter le maître-cylindre de
frein de sorte que l’écart entre le
maître-cylindre de frein et son
demi-palier soit identique des
deux côtés.
C: Contrôler le bon fonctionnement
du levier de frein.

tes est indispensable au bon fonc-
tionnement du véhicule. Se
reporter à “CHEMINEMENT
DES CÂBLES”.
