Configuring a Directed Pickup Key
When the specified phone number receives an incoming call, you can press the directed pickup
key to answer the call on your phone.
Procedure:
1. Navigate to Menu->Features->DSS Keys, and then select a desired line key.
2. Select Key Event from the Type field.
3. Select Pick Up from the Key Type field.
4. Select a desired line from the Account ID field.
5. (Optional.) Enter the string that will display on the LCD screen in the Label field.
6. (Optional.) Enter an extension you want to pick up calls from in the Value field.
7. (Optional.) For the SIP-T52S IP phone, enter the string that will appear on the LCD screen in
the Short Label field.
8. Press Save.

Configuring a Group Pickup Key
When any number in the group receives an incoming call, you can press the group pickup key to
pick up the incoming call.
Procedure:
1. Navigate to Menu->Features->DSS Keys, and then select a desired line key.
2. Select Key Event from the Type field.
3. Select Group Pick Up from the Key Type field.
4. Select a desired line from the Account ID field.
5. (Optional.) Enter the string that will display on the LCD screen in the Label field.
6. (Optional.) Enter group call pickup code in the Value field.
7. (Optional.) For the SIP-T52S IP phone, enter the string that will appear on the LCD screen in
the Short Label field.
8. Press Save.
Note
If the Value field is left blank, the Directed Pickup key performs the same as DPickup key on
Dialing/Pre-dialing screen.
If the Value field is left blank, the Group Pickup key performs the same as GPickup key on
Dialing/Pre-dialing screen.
