6. Battery and Fuse Replacement
W ARNIN G
Be careful not to burn yourself.
• Fusebecomesahightemperatureaftercurrentmeasurement,itisdangerousbytouchingit
directly.
When fuse or batteries are replaced after current measurement, please be sure to leave the
main unit for 10 minutes for cooling.
6.1 Battery Replacement
If the batteries fall below the normal operating voltage, the “ ”symbol turns on.
Follow the steps below to replace the batteries with new ones.
(AA-size (R6) 1.5V batteries)
Set the time by referring to the Set-up function after changing the batteries.
If you remove the batteries, the time resets to 00:00 and the time for LOGGING
measurement will not be correct.

Be sure to disconnect the instrument from the circuit under test and testing leads before
replacing the batteries.
CAUTION
• TurnthefunctionswitchtoOFF(turnoffthepower).
• Donotmixbatteriesofdifferenttypesornewbatterieswithusedones.
• Makesurethepolaritiesofthenewbatteriesareexactlyasshownonthebatteryholder.
To replace the batteries:
1) Remove the screw on the back of the casing.
2) Remove the back cover.
3)Takethebatteriesoutofthehousing.
4) Replace the batteries with new ones.
5) Close the casing and fasten it with the screw.
