6.2 Fuse Replacement
If a current greater than the rated value flows when the instrument is in the current-
measurement range, a protection fuse may blow.
If this happens, replace that fuse. The instrument contains the following types of fuses.
• TurnthefunctionswitchtoOFF(turnoffthepower).
• Be sure to disconnect the instrument from the circuit under test and testing leads before
replacing the fuses.
• Donotoperatetheinstrumentwiththecasingleftopen.
• In order to avoid damage to the instrument or any possible accident, use fuses of the
speciedrating.
Fuserating: F1 99015(440mA/1000V,SIBAGmbH&Co.KG,5021006.0.44)
F2 99016(10A/1000V,SIBAGmbH&Co.KG,5019906.10)
High breaking capacity type
To replace the fuse:
1) Remove the screw on the back of the casing.
2) Remove the back cover.
3)Removetheblownfusefromthefuseholder.
4) Install a new fuse in the holder.
(Make sure the fuse rating.)
5) Close the casing and fasten it with the screw.
