4.2 CHOPPER CONFIGURATION AND CONNECTIONS DESCRIPTION
The choices made regarding power connections must be communicated to the chopper.
In order to supply this information, you have to connect the chopper to the programming
console and access the set model, set options, and adjustment menus (see specific con-
figuration descriptions).
- CONFIGURATION OF THE MODEL: SET MODEL MENU
Allows chopper to operate in one of the 3 possible modes.
1) REGENER. TR = regenerative traction
2) STANDARD PUMP = standard lifting
3) PUMP+HYDRO = lifting with hydrodrive contactor handling
- CONFIGURATION OF OPTIONS: SET OPTIONS MENU

BYPASS CONTACTOR Bypass Bypass contactor
Weakening cont Weakening contactor.
SPEED CONTROL On No speed check.
Off Speed check activated.
BATTERY CHECK On No low battery charge alarm.
Off Low charge alarm with 50%
max. current if less than 10%
of charge.
ANTIROLLBACK On No Anti-rollback.
Off Anti-rollback handled.
RELEASE BRAKING On No regenerative braking at
release.
Off Release braking.
HOUR COUNTER Running Hour-meter active only when
running.
Key on Hour-meter active with key on.
QUICK INVERSION Off E1 = Reduction of speed
no.3.
On E1 = Rapid inversion input.
SAFETY SWITCH Seat E4 = Seat microswitch.
Handle E4 = Handle microswitch.
BACKING FUNCTION Off E2 = Speed reduction no.2.
On E2 = Back request with
speed relative to cutback
