XT9 Text Input
XT9 is a predictive text input mode which displays a word candidate list as you enter the first few
characters so you just select the word that you want.
You can tap to enter, as with other input method, or trace to enter, without lifting your finger up.

Entering Text through the On-screen Keyboard
1. Enter a field that needs text or numbers.
2. Tap or hold the letters on the keyboard to enter your text.
Entering Numbers and Symbols
1. Enter a field that needs text or numbers.
2. Tap / / to open the symbol panel.
3. Select the numbers and symbols.
Touch Input Settings
You can configure the touch input settings by tapping Menu Key > Settings > Language & keyboard
from Home Screen.

• Basic settings
Word prediction: Enables the word prediction function.
Key press sound: Enables the sound feedback as you touch on the keyboard.
Key press vibration: Enables the vibration feedback as you touch on the keyboard.
Mixed language input: Enables the language auto-detection if no more than 3 languages are selected.
Select languages: Select the languages that you may use.
