WARNING!
Apply grease to stripped aluminum conductors before attaching them to
non-coated aluminum cable lugs. Obey the grease manufacturer’s instructions.
Aluminum-aluminum contact can cause oxidation in the contact surfaces.
3. If fire insulation is used, make an opening in the mineral wool sheet according to the
diameter of the cable.
4. Put the cables through the entry plate.
5. Remove rubber grommets from the entry plate for the cables to be connected. Cut
adequate holes into the rubber grommets. Slide the grommets onto the cables. Slide
the cables through the entry plate and attach the grommets to the holes.
6. Attach the conductive sleeves to the cable shields with cable ties. Tie up the unused
conductive sleeves with cable ties. An example of bottom entry is shown below. For top
entry, place the grommet upwards.
