Transferring Data
1. Install the software
according to the manu-
facturer's instructions.
2. Initiate the software and
read the manufacturer’s
instructions regarding
information download.
3. Locate the infrared (IR)
interface window on the
top side of the Accu-
Chek Compact
™
meter.
(See pages 16-17.)
4. Locate the IR window
on the infrared cable.
5. Position the infrared
cable within four inches
(10 cm) of the meter
and point the two IR
windows toward one
another.
6. Open the display cover.
Make sure the software is ready to accept data
from the meter.
