Use of a new battery (04_20,
04_21)
•
Open the helmet compartment.
•
Make sure that the ignition
switch is set to "OFF".
•
Undo and remove the two
screws fixing the battery cover
(1).
•
Remove the battery cover (2).
•
Unscrew and remove the screw
(3) of the negative terminal (-).
•
Move the negative lead (4)
aside.
•
Unscrew and remove the screw
(5) of the positive terminal (+).
•
Move the positive lead (6) aside.
•
Hold the battery (7) firmly and lift
it out of its compartment.
•
Put the battery (7) away on a
level surface in a cool and dry
place.
CAUTION
UPON REFITTING, CONNECT THE
LEAD TO THE POSITIVE TERMINAL
(+) FIRST AND AFTERWARDS THE
LEAD TO THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL
(-).
CHECK THAT THE BATTERY LEADS
AND TERMINALS ARE:
- IN GOOD CONDITION (NOT CORRO-
DED OR COVERED BY DEPOSITS);
Inwerkingstelling van een
nieuwe accu (04_20, 04_21)
•
Open de helmruimte.
•
Controleer of de ontstekings-
schakelaar zich in positie ''OFF''
bevindt.
•
Draai de twee bevestigingsbou-
ten van het deksel van de accu
(1) los, en verwijder ze.
•
Verwijder het accudeksel (2).
•
Draai de bout (3) los en verwij-
der ze van de negatieve klem
(-).
•
Verplaats de negatieve kabel (4)
zijdelings.
•
Draai de bout (5) los en verwij-
der ze van de positieve klem (+).
•
Verplaats de positieve kabel (6)
zijdelings.
•
Grijp de accu (7) stevig vast, en
verwijder ze uit haar plaats door
ze op te heffen.
•
Plaats de accu (7) op een vlakke
ondergrond, in een koele en
droge plaats.
LET OP
BIJ DE HERMONTAGE VERBINDT
MEN EERST DE KABEL OP DE POSI-
TIEVE KLEM (+) EN DAARNA OP DE
NEGATIEVE KLEM (-).
