Long periods of inactivity

NECT THE 30A AND 40A MAIN FUSES
TO AVOID BATTERY DETERIORA-

TALE KLOK, REISINFORMATIE EN
CHRONOMETINGEN.
If the vehicle is inactive longer than fifteen
days, it is necessary to recharge the bat-
tery to avoid sulphation.
•
Remove the battery.
In winter or when the vehicle is out of use
for prolonged periods, check charge level
frequently (about once a month) to pre-
vent deterioration.
•
Recharge it fully with an ordina-
ry charge.
If the battery is still installed in the vehicle,
disconnect the cables from the terminals.
Wanneer het voertuig langer dan vijftien
dagen inactief blijft, moet men de accu
opladen om sulfatering te vermijden.
•
Verwijder de accu.
Tijdens de winter of wanneer het voertuig
stilstaat, controleert men periodiek de la-
ding (ongeveer eens per maand) om het
verval ervan te vermijden.
•
Laad ze volledig op door gebruik
te maken van een normale la-
ding.
