CHAIN ADJUSTMENT (Fig. 21)
◆ Stand the vehicle in an upright position and com-
pletely extend the rear suspension.
◆ Check that the vertical movement in the lower part
of the chain, at a point mid-way between the pin-
ion and the crown, is about 40 mm.
If this distance is not correct, proceed as follows:
◆ Loosen the rear wheel pin fastening nut.
For the wheel centering:
Make sure that on both sides the fixed
reference on the rear fork corresponds
to the number indicated on the chain tightener.
◆ Act on the apposite chain tighteners.
◆ Once the operation has been performed, tighten
the rear wheel pin fastening nut.
