Replace both brake pads when the friction material is worn (even if it is only one brake
pad) to about 1.5 mm.
CAUTION
EXCESSIVE WEAR OF THE FRICTION MATERIAL MAKES THE PAD METAL
SUPPORT GET INTO CONTACT WITH THE DISC, WHICH RESULTS IN A MET-
ALLIC NOISE AND SPARKS IN THE CALLIPER; THEREFORE, BRAKING EFFI-
CIENCY AND DISC SAFETY AND INTEGRITY ARE AT RISK.

TO CHANGE THE BRAKE PADS, PLEASE CONTACT AN Official Aprilia Dealer.

Inactivity of the vehicle (04_52)
Take some measures to avoid the side effects of not using the vehicle.
Also, carry out general maintenance and checks before garaging the vehicle as one
can forget to do so afterwards.
Proceed as follows:
•
Empty the fuel tank and the carburettor completely.
•
Remove the spark plug.
•
Pour a teaspoonful (5 - 10 cm³) of engine oil into the cylinder.
