2.6.8 Platform Misc Conguration
The items in this menu allow you to congure the Platform Misc.
PCIE Express Native Power Management [Disabled]
Allows you to enable or disable PCIE express native power management. Conguration
options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
Native ASPM [Disabled]
The item appears only when you set the previous item to [Enabled] and allows you to enable
or disable ASPM. Conguration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
2.6.9 Serial Port Console Redirection
Console Redirection [Disabled]
Enables or disables the console redirection feature. When enabled, it allows you to maintain
a system from a remote location by redirecting keyboard input and text output through the
serial port. Conguration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]

Out-of-Band Mgmt Port [COM0 (DISA...]
Microsoft Windows Emergency Management Services (EMS) allows for remote
management of a Windows Server OS through a serial port. Conguration options:
[COM0 (Disabled)] [COM1 (Disabled)] [COM2 (Pci Bys0, Dev0, Func0) (Disabled)]
Terminal Type [VT-UTF8]
VT-UTF8 is the preferred terminal type for out-of-band management. The next best
choice is VT100+ and then VT100. Conguration options: [VT100] [VT100+] [VT-UTF8]
[ANSI]
Bits per second [115200]
Allows you to select the transmission speed of the serial port. Conguration options:
[9600] [19200] [57600] [115200]
Flow Control [None]
Flow control prevents data loss from buffer overow. This item allows you to set the
ow control. Conguration options: [None] [Hardware RTS/CTS] [Software Xon/Xoff]
