The following list shows the dierent heating possibilities and oven settings that are
available. Use the cookingguidelines on the following pages to determine the correct
mode and setting for your recipes.
MICROWAVE SETTING
Microwaves are used for cooking and defrosting foods� Dishes are
cooked quickly and eciently without the colour or form of the food
being aected� You set the power and cooking time manually for the
dierent dishes�
OVEN SETTING
Convection
In this setting the top and bottom heating elements and the fan are
activated� The heat is distributed evenly in the oven�
This setting is suitable for large amounts of food which need heat
supply, such as large augratins and pies�
Recommended temperature: 180°C
Grill setting
Thegrill setting is particularly suitable forgrilling smaller quantities, such as
baguette, fish fillets or for oven dishes ‘augratin’� Put the dish in the middle
of the grill rack + ceramic baking, because the element is in the middle of
the oven�
Recommended temperature: 180°C
Maxigrill setting
Both top elements heat the dish� Maxigrill is suitable forgrilling steaks,
sausages, and making cheese on toast�
Recommended temperature: 220°C
Grill + fan
The fan distributes the heatgenerated from the top heating element�
You can use this setting forgrilling meat and fish� Recommended
temperature: 220°C
AUTOMATIC FUNCTIONS
DEFROST SETTING
Select from 5 preset defrost settings� The fan is switched on with a low
temperature during defrosting� Turn the food over during defrosting� You
only have to choose the programme and the weight to start defrosting.
AQUA CLEAN
The hot steam makes the interior of the oven wet, so you can clean the
oven easily� The Aqua Clean programme takes 15minutes�
