Selecting a programme type and
starting seek tuning
Press the
or button 8 repeat-
edly until the desired programme type
is displayed.
Press the
or button 8 to start
seek tuning.
If a station with the selected programme
type is found, it is tuned into.
Treble reduction feature during
interference (HICUT)
The HICUT function results in improved
playback in case of weak radio reception. If
reception interferences are present, the in-
terference level is automatically reduced.
To switch HICUT on or off,
press the MENU button 7.
Press the
or button 8 repeat-
edly until "HICUT" and the current set-
ting "ON" or "OFF" appear on the dis-
play 6.
Press the
or button 8 to switch
HICUT on or off.
To exit the menu,
press the MENU button 7.
Switching radio text on/off
Some radio stations use the RDS signal to
transmit advertisement or other informa-
tion instead of the station name. This radio
text appears on the display 6.
To switch the display of radio text on or off,
press the MENU button 7.

or button 8 repeat-
edly until "RADIOTXT" appears.

After approx. 2 seconds, the current set-
ting "TEXT ON" or "TEXT OFF" appears on
the display 6.
Press the
or button 8 to switch
the display of radio text on or off.
Note:
You do not have to wait for the display
of the current setting to change it by
pressing the
or button 8.
To exit the menu,
press the MENU button 7.
