EQUALIZER
Setting the equalizer
➮ Press the DEQ button 6.
➮ Using the or button 7, select the
filter “LOW EQ”, “MID EQ” or “HIGH
EQ”.
To select the frequency,
➮ press the or button 7.
➮ Adjust the level using the or button
7.
To select the next filter,
➮ first press the OK button 5 and then
the or button 7.
When you have finished making all your ad-
justments,
➮ press the DEQ button 6.
Setting the quality factor for the
filter
➮ Press the DEQ button 6.
➮ Using the or button 7, select the
settings for the quality factor of the indi-
vidual filters “LO-Q-FAC”, “MI-Q-FAC” or
“HI-Q-FAC”.
To adjust the filter quality,
➮ press the or button 7.
To select the next filter,
➮ first press the OK button 5 and then
the
or button 7.
When you have finished making all your ad-
justments,
➮ press the DEQ button 6.
Selecting sound presets
You can select sound presets for the follow-
ing music types.
● ROCK
● DISCO
● JAZZ
● CLASSIC
● VOCAL
The settings for these music styles have al-
ready been programmed.
➮ Press the DEQ button 6.
➮ Select “PRESET” using the or but-
ton 7.
To select a sound preset,
➮ press the or button 7.
➮ Press OK button 5.
When you have finished making all your ad-
justments,
➮ press the DEQ button 6.
Setting the spectrometer
The spectrometer (level display) briefly pro-
vides a symbolic display of the volume, the
sound control settings and the equalizer set-
tings whilst you are making your changes.
When you are not changing any settings, the
spectrometer can display the car radio’s out-
put level.
Switching the spectrometer on/off
➮ Press the MENU button 8.
“MENU” appears in the display.
➮ Keep pressing the or button 7 un-
til “PEAK ON” or “PEAK OFF” appears
in the display.
To switch the spectrometer on/off,
➮ press the or button 7.
To close the menu,
➮ press the OK button 5 or MENU but-
ton 8.
The settings are saved.
