Troubleshooting chart
The engine doesn't start.
Possible cause Rectification
Side stand extended and gear engaged Retract the side stand.
Kill switch activated Set emergency-off switch to operation mode
( 37).
Gear engaged and clutch not disengaged Operate the clutch or put the transmission into
idle so that the idle mode indicator light lights up.
No fuel in tank Refuelling ( 59).
Battery flat Recharging disconnected battery ( 97).
