ABS warning light
The ABS warning light 1 lights up
if the BMW Integral ABS develops
a fault (
b 93).
Warning light, general
General warning light 2 lights up if
the BMW Integral ABS develops a
fault (
b 93), or if the tail light or
brake light is defective.
Low fuel level
When warning light 3 comes on,
there are still approximately
1.1 gals. (4 liters) of fuel in the
tank.
Engine oil pressure
Warning light 4 goes out above
idle speed.

If warning light 4 comes on during
the journey, take the following
action as soon as traffic conditions
permit:
•Disengage the clutch
•Operate the kill switch
• Bring the motorcycle safely to a
halt
• Check engine oil level (
b 43)
Add with fresh oil if the oil level is
low. If the warning light for engine
oil pressure lights up even though
the oil level is correct, it is abso-
lutely essential to consult a BMW-
certified workshop, preferably an
authorized BMW motorcycle re-
tailer.
