Setting the Operating Mode
Screwdriving
Set the operating mode presetting ring(4) to
the "screwdriving" symbol.
Set the torque presetting ring(3) to the re-
quired torque.
Drilling
Set the operating mode presetting ring(4) to
the "drilling" symbol.
Impact drilling
Set the operating mode presetting ring(4) to
the "impact drilling" symbol.
Temperature-dependent overload protection
In normal conditions of use, the power tool cannot be over-
loaded. If the power tool is overloaded or the permitted bat-
tery temperature is exceeded, the electronics of the power
tool will switch off until the temperature returns to within the
optimum operating temperature range.
Practical advice
u Pull the plug out of the socket before carrying out any
work on the power tool.
u Only apply the power tool to the screw/nut when the
tool is switched off. Rotating tool inserts can slip off.
After working at a low speed for an extended period, you
should operate the power tool at the maximum speed for ap-
proximately three minutes without load to cool it down.

Maintenance and Cleaning
u Remove the battery from the power tool before carry-
ing out work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance,
changing tool, etc.). The battery should also be re-
moved for transport and storage. There is risk of injury
from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.
u Pull the plug out of the socket before carrying out any
work on the power tool.
u To ensure safe and efficient operation, always keep
the power tool and the ventilation slots clean.
If the battery is no longer working, please contact an author-
ised after-sales service agent for power tools.
In order to avoid safety hazards, if the power supply cord
needs to be replaced, this must be done by or by an after-
sales service centre that is authorised to repair power tools.
