Changing the pattern length
The length of one part of a 7 mm satin stitch can be set to one
of five sizes.

Select a 7 mm satin stitch pattern.

Select (Elongation) in the settings screen, and select
the desired length from among “1” to “5”.
Changing character spacing

Select character stitches.

Select (Character spacing) in the settings screen.
c
Adjust the character spacing by pressing the “-” or “+”
key.
The higher the setting, the wider the character spacing
will be; the lower the setting, the narrower the character
spacing will be.
Creating step stitch patterns
(For models equipped with step stitch
patterns)
Decorative stitches can be shifted to the left or right by half
the width of the pattern, allowing you to create a step-shaped
pattern. (Equipped on some models. Refer to page B-8.) This is
called a “step stitch pattern”. As an example, the procedure
for creating the following pattern is described below.

Select a decorative stitch.

Press .
→ The next pattern selected is moved half a width to the
right.
c
Select the same pattern.
