0 Shuttle driver needle contact adjustment
Turn the pulley and align the rotary hook point with the needle ce nt er. Loosen set screw 0 and turn the eccen tric
connecting link stud f) so that the needle meets the shuttle driver. Note that excessive needle to driver co nt act
will result in skipped stitches. Also, if the needle does not sufficient ly contact the shuttle driver, the rotary hook
point will interrupt the needle, resulting in abnorma l abrasion .
II] Shuttle hook thread guide adjustment
[I] Presser plate lift stroke adjustment
Adjust so that the ne edle groove of the s hutt le hook
thread gu ide 0 is at the middl e of the needle zigzag
width, sl ide the thread guide l ight ly in, a nd then
retighten the screws.
The presser plate l ift stroke is a maximum 20 mm from th e ne edle plate top to presser pl ate bottom when the
machine is stopped. To adjsut, l ower th e work cia mp, loosen set screw 8, and vert ically adjust th e posit i on of the
presser arm stoppe r f) so that th e presser plate 0 to pre sser a rm stoppe r f) gap is 1 mm. To decrease the
presser plate l ift stroke, increase the presser plate 0 to presser arm stopper f) gap.
