{CAUTION:
If the easy entry right front seat is not
locked, it can move. In a sudden stop or
crash, the person sitting there could be
injured. After you have used it, be sure to
push rearward on an easy entry seat to be
sure it is locked.
5. Try to slide the entire seat back and forth to
make sure the seat is locked into place.
Rear Seats
Split Folding Rear Seat
You can fold either side of the seatback down for
more cargo space. Make sure the front seat is
not reclined. If it is, the rear seatback will not fold
down all the way.
Notice: Folding a rear seat with the safety
belts still fastened may cause damage to the
seat or the safety belts. Always unbuckle
the safety belts and return them to their normal
stowed position before folding a rear seat.
To lower the rear
seatback, pull forward
on the seat tab
located on the outboard
side of the seatback
cushion and fold
the seatback down.
This will allow
you direct access
to the trunk.
