What to Do Next
Do not use interface module or power supply ejector handles to lift the chassis; using these handles to lift
the chassis can deform or damage the handles.

Removing the Interface Module
Before removing the interface module, read the Activating or Deactivating Interface Module section in
the Cisco ASR 920 Series Aggregation Services Router Configuration Guide.

SUMMARY STEPS
1.
To remove an interface module, disconnect all the cables from each interface module.
2.
Loosen the locking thumbscrews on both sides of the interface module.
3.
Slide the interface module out of the router slot by pulling on the handles.If you are removing a blank
filler plate, pull the blank filler plate completely out of the router slot using the captive screws.
