Using the Phone Web User Interface
Your Cisco IP Phone provides a web interface for the phone user that allows you to configure some
features of your phone by using a web browser. Your phone system administrator can allow you to
view the phone statistics and modify some or all of the parameters by using the web configuration
utility. The features of the Cisco SPA phones that can be modified by the user by using the web
configuration utility are described in this chapter; however, not all features are available on all phones.
Logging in to the Phone Web User Interface
To log into the web configuration utility:
STEP 1 Get the IP address of your phone:
a. Press the Setup button.
b. Scroll to network and press select .
c. Scroll to view Current IP . This is the IP address of your phone.
STEP 2 On your PC, open a Web browser window. Your PC must be on the same subnetwork
as the phone.
STEP 3 Enter the IP address in the browser address bar. For example, 192.168.1.244. The web
configuration utility displays.
