andwater(1cup(237mL)pergallon(3.8L)ofwater).Rinsesolutionoffthebattery.Donotallowthissolutionto

enterbattery.Besureterminalsaretight.LettheterminalsdryandthenspraythemwithBatteryT erminalProtector

Besurebatteryclampisproperlytightened.Tightento144in-lb(16N·m).Aloosebatteryclampmayallowthe

batterytobecomedamagedfromvibrationorjarring.

Ifbatteryappearsweak,haveitchargedbyatrainedtechnician.Thebatteryshouldneverbeleftdischargedany

longerthanabsolutelynecessary(donotleavedischargedovernight).
