Removing the solid-state drive/Intel Optane
memory module
You need to disable the Intel Optane memory before removing Intel Optane memory module from your computer. For more

Prerequisites
1. Remove the optical drive.
2. Remove the base cover.
Procedure
1. Locate the solid-state drive/Intel Optane on your computer.
NOTE: If available, remove the thermal shield before removing the solid-state drive/Intel Optane.
2. Remove the screw (M2x2.2) that secures the solid-state drive/Intel Optane to the palm rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Lift the solid-state drive/Intel Optane at an angle and remove it from the solid-state drive/Intel Optane slot.
