4.3 External Maintenance Bypass Installation
The Maintenance Bypass for 300/400 kVA models consists of input, output and bypass breakers used to
control the AC input to the UPS the inverter output, and a Maintenance Bypass switch used to isolate the UPS
so that the components can be serviced without interrupting power to critical systems.
1. Refer to Table 3-5 for External Maintenance Bypass Wiring Requirements.
2. Refer to Table 3-8 for External Maintenance Bypass Breaker Ratings.
3. Refer to Figure 6-8 for External Maintenance Bypass connection method.
