6. Reinstall the battery cover plate.
7. Replace the UPS front cover (see Figure 58):
Plug the LCD cable from the control panel on the front cover into the connector
on the electronics module. Use care to loop the LCD cable gently in front of the
electronics module.
Push the top of the front cover firmly into place, and then push the bottom firmly
into place.
NOTE Reconnecting the control panel to the electronics module automatically transfers the UPS to Normal
mode.
8. Verify that no alarms are indicated on the control panel.

Testing New Batteries
NOTE The batteries must be fully charged and the UPS must not be in Battery mode to perform the battery
test.
NOTE For an accurate battery test, test the UPS with at least 10% load applied to the UPS.
NOTE Battery Tests will only run when the system is in High Efficiency Mode and the charger is in Rest
Mode.
To test new batteries:
1. Plug the UPS into a power outlet for 48 hours to charge the battery.
2. Press any button to activate the menu options.
