Ventilation/exhaustsystem
Applicablelocalregulationsmustbe
compliedwithwheninstallingthe
exhaustsystem.
TheTRIGOLLcompactheatingcenter
mustbeoperatedwithanapproved
exhaustsystemonly.Customer
suppliedexhaustsystemsmustbe
resistanttomoisture,corrosion,and
condensate,andmustcomplywithall
staticandoperationalrequirements.
Thefireplaceopeningmustpermitan
unencumberedexitingoftheexhaust
gases(fireplacecapisnotrecom-
mended).
Theconnectionbetweenfireplaceand
TRIGONLmustbesloped(3%)so
thattheaccumulatingcondensatemay
flowbackfromtheexhaustpipe.This
connectionshouldhaveasfewbends
aspossible.Theexhaustventshall
haveinspectionopeningspursuantto
governmentregulations.Theuseofa
roomairindependentexhaustsystem
ispossible.
Exhaustpipes
Horizontalpipelayoutmustbeavoided
inordertoavoidanysettlingofconden-
sate.Youmustensurethatthevarious
componentsareconnectedandsealed
tightly.
Anyassemblyshalluse45°bends.
Verticalpartsshallbefastenedwith
straps.
Condensate
Theconnectionofthecondensate
discharge(behindboiler)mustbe
slopedintothedischargeline.Itmust
alsobeprotectedagainstfreezing.
