Sortinggroupsandsortinggates:AtthetimeyouprepareaSortListinMyScale
Pro,youdonotneedtoknowwhichofthesorter'sgateswillbeavailablefor
yourpurpose.Whenyoupreparethelist,yousimplyassignanimalstogroups.
AfteryoucopytheSortListtotheScale,youdecidewhichsortinggroupwillpass
throughwhichsortergate.
Outsiders:Outsidersareanimalswhich:
arenotonthelist;
havenogroupnumberassignedtotheminthelist;or
havenoElectronicID.
Ifanoutsiderpassesthroughthesorter,theScaleassignstheanimaltoaspecial
groupcalledOthers.WhenyouselectaSortListsession,theScalegivesyouthe
opportunitytoassignasortergatespecificallytotheOthersgroup.
Notes:
Ifyousortbylistwithoutweighing,youcannotsortanimalsthatarenot
wearingElectronicIDtags.Ifyouencountersuchananimal,planonhaving
tomanuallyshiftitoutofthesorter.
Ifyouareweighingasyousortbylistandyouencounterananimalnot
wearinganElectronicIDtag,theScalewillsorttheanimalthroughthegate
youassignedtotheOthersgroup.Inthiscase,astheScalecannotrecordan
ElectronicID,youshouldaddadditionalanimalinformation,atleastthe
animal'sVisualTagNumber.
IfyourSortListcontainsmorethan600animals,anadditional"SEARCHING"
screendisplaysduringsortingwhiletheScalelocatestherequiredrecords.
