CALIBRATION DESCRIPTION
[EN] English 116 K0553 Revision D
8) If the recorded difference exceeds the allowable tolerance, carry out the “Calibration
adjustment” procedure detailed below.
9) Repeat this procedure for the other channel.
Calibration adjustment
The procedure applies known pressures to the ADTS and then entering the exact applied pres-
sure using the ADTS Touch. After all calibration points have been entered, the ADTS automati-
cally calculates the necessary offset (zero) and slope (span) corrections.
1) Select Ps or Pt. The Ps or Pt sensor correction screen opens.
2) Follow the on-screen instructions.
3) Calculate the actual applied pressure reading to at least 4 decimal places and enter this
value into the ADTS.
4) Repeat this procedure for the other channel.
The adjustment requires two pressures for each channel. Adjustment pressures are the lowest
and highest pressures of the selected channel, see Table 4-5:
Table 4-5: Adjustment points
Following a calibration adjustment use the sensor precision values as the calibration check
limits. Sensor precision value is displayed under the Tools, System status, ADTS, Sensors, Ps/Pt
screen. Sensor precision values are intended for <24hour post adjustment verification of the
ADTS against the calibration equipment used to adjust the ADTS. For >24hour specification
values or where other calibration equipment was used to adjust the calibration refer to the ADTS
sales data sheet accuracy specification.
