Multi-Channel Advanced Features
Mutli-Channel Operation
The ADTS553F can function as an ADTS552F by disabling the second static channel.
The four channel ADTS554F can function as a three channel ADTS553F by disabling the second
pitot channel. It can also function as an ADTS552F by disabling the second pitot channel.

Similarly, the ADTS553 can function as an ADTS552 by disabling the second static channel.
Independent Pilot / Co-pilot Testing
The ADTS554F can accomplish simultaneous independent control of pilot and co-pilot Ps and Pt
and perform a user selectable differential validation between pilot and co-pilot instrument
systems
Angle of Attack (Smart Probe) Testing
The ADTS553 and ADTS554 operating in 3 channel mode is primarily designed for Smart Probe
validation.
The pitot channel Pt1 is referenced to Ps1 for air speed.
The second static channel Ps2 is used to generate the extra test pressure required for smart
probe applications.
