TheuseofasuitableglandsystemisrequiredtomaintaintheappropriateIP/Nemarating.Theglandplatehaspremouldedcableentry
holesforpowerandmotorconnectionssuitableforusewithglandsasshowninthefollowingtable.Whereadditionalholesarerequired,
thesecanbedrilledtosuitablesize.Pleasetakecarewhendrillingtoavoidleavinganyparticleswithintheproduct.

3.8. RemovingtheTerminalCover
Toaccesstheconnectionterminals,thedrivefrontcoverneedstoberemovedasshown.
Removingthe2screwsonthefrontoftheproductallowsaccesstotheconnectionterminals,asshownbelow.
3.9. RoutineMaintenance
Thedriveshouldbeincludedwithinthescheduledmaintenanceprogramsothattheinstallationmaintainsasuitableoperatingenvironment,
thisshouldinclude:
• Ambienttemperatureisatorbelowthatsetoutinthe“Environment”section.
• Heatsinkfansfreelyrotatinganddustfree.
• TheEnclosureinwhichthedriveisinstalledshouldbefreefromdustandcondensation;furthermoreventilationfansandairfilters
shouldbecheckedforcorrectairflow.
Checksshouldalsobemadeonallelectricalconnections,ensuringscrewterminalsarecorrectlytorqued;andthatpowercableshavenosigns
ofheatdamage.
