MULTI ROOM OPERATION
]he AVR,525isfullyequippedtooperateasthecon-
trolcenterfora completemultiroomsystemthatis
capableofsendingonesourceto a secondzonein
thehousewhileseparatesourceislistenedto inthe
mainroom Inadditionto providingforcontroloverthe
selectionof theremotesourceanditsvolume,the
AVR525 offersa comprehensiverangeofoptionsfor
poweringthespeakersinthesecondzone
• UsingthelinelevelMultiroomAudioOutputs4_}),
theselectedsourcemaybefedto optional,exter
nalpoweramplifiersthatmaybematchedto the
specificsof theinstallation
• Whenthemainroomsystemisconfiguredfor51
operation,theSurroundBackLeft/Rightamplifier
channelsmaybeusedtopowertheremotezone
sothatnoadditionalamplifiersarerequired
• Usingbuilt-inA BUSReadytechnology,optional
A-BUSmodulesmaybeconnectedto theAVR525
viaasingleCategoryFivewire,so thatremotezone
speakersmaybepowereddirectlyfromthemodule
orkeypadwithouttheneedforadditionalpower.

Inaddition,theAVR525 includesa remoteIRsensor
inputsothatremotecontrolcommandsfromthe
ZoneIIremoteincludedwiththeunitmaybetransmitted
totheunit,whilestandardIRinput/outputjacksallow
theremotezone'scommandstobesenttocompatible

Althoughsimpleremoteroomsystemsmaybe
installedbytheaveragedo it-yourselfhobbyist,the
complexityofyourmultizone/multiroomsystem
involvesrunningwiresinsideof wallswheretheservic
esof a speciallytrainedinstallermayberequired
Regardlessofwhodoesthework,pleaseremember
thatlocalbuildingcodesmaygovernin-wallelectrical
work,includingproperspecificationof anywiringused
andthewayinwhichitis connectedYouarerespon-
