TONE CIRCUIT BOARD

NOTE : Only part of the circuit board is
shown 111 the following Pictorials. An
identilic"ution drawing at the top of each
of these Pictorials shows the area of the
circuit board to be assembled.
Position the tone circuit board with the
part number as shown in the identification
drawing. Then complete each step on the
Pictorial.
NOTE : When you install electrolytic ca-
i1acitors be sure to position the positive
( +) lead of the capacitor toward the
positive ( +) mark on the circuit board.

1 M!l (brown -black- green) resistor
and a 47 pF disc capacitor.

Mount the resistor -c apacitor com -
bination.
120 kS1 (brown-red-yellow).
Solder the leads to the foil and cut
off the excess lead lengths.

2N5308 transistor (#417-222) at
0201 L. First line up the flat of the
transistor with the outline of the flat
on the circuit board. Then insert the
transistor leads into their correct
holes, which are indicated by E, C,
and B. Solder each lead to the foil
and cut off the excess lead length.
When a jumper is called for in a
step, cut a white solid wire to the specified
length and remove 1/ 4" of insulation from
each end.
