Chapter 2 Startup and Shutdown
2.1 Start up
Before you start
Ensure the power is sufficient. If not, charge the body camera. Refer to Chapter 1.3 Charge Body
Camera for details.
Step
Hold the On/Off button for 3 seconds. Then LED 2 turns green, and after 10 seconds, the
HIKVISION logo pops up. You will hear an audible notification. All of these indicate the body
camera starts successfully. Then it automatically enters the live view interface.
You can also hold the Recording button for 3 seconds to start up the body camera and start
recording at the same time.
2.2 Turn on/off LCD
The LCD goes to sleep automatically when there is no operation in the predefined auto-lock time.
Press any button, except PTT, to manually activate LCD. Press the On/Off button again to inactivate
LCD.
2.3 Shut down
Hold the On/Off button for 3 seconds. When you hear an audible notification, and the HIKVISION
logo pops up on the LCD, the body camera is shut down successfully.
