BEFORE OPERATION
Parking Brake
Make sure the brake pedal remains locked down when the parking
brake is set.
Hydrostatic Transmission Oil Level
The hydrostatic fluid level should be between the 2 marks on the
reservoir. If the fluid is below the bottom line, add lOW30 API SE, CC,
or CD oil to bring the level to the upper line. Do not use Honda
Hydrostatic Fluid in this lawn tractor. See page 88.
Muffler and Exhaust Area
Inspect the muffler and exhaust
area around the front guard
(bumper). Make sure the entire area
is free of grass, leaves, debris, or
any other obstructions.
The front guard must remain on the
lawn tractor when the mower deck
is used.
Drive Belt
FRONT GUARD
Verify that the drive belt is in good condition.
