Battery Charging (SMA type only)
The battery will automatically recharge while the
mower is operated. A plug-in charger is provided
for supplemental charging if the mower is not oper-
ated frequently enough to keep the battery charged.
Use the plug-in charger to recharge the battery after
prolonged storage, or whenever you notice a de-
crease in starter motor speed.
1. Disconnect the 2P battery connector,
located
under the control box.
2. Connect the 2P battery connector to the charger
supplied with the mower.
3. Plug the charger into a standard AC power outlet,
and allow the battery to charge for 24 hours.
NOTE:
The charger will become a little warm
when charging, but this is normal.
4. When the battery has been charged, disconnect the
charger, and reconnect the 2P connectors under
the mower control box.
