6. Install the oil st.rainer screen, spring and
oil strainer sc.reen cap.
Oil strainer screen cap torque:
20 N·m (2.0 kgf·m, 15Ibf·ft)
7. Check that the sealing washer on the
drain bolt is in good condition and install
the bolt. Replace the sealing washer
eVCIY other time the oil is changeci, or
each time if necessary.
Oil drain bolt torque:
24 N·m (2.4 kgf.m, 18Ibf·ft)
8. Fill the crankcase with the recommended
grade oil; approximately:
0.92 (1.0 US qt, 0.8 Imp qt)
9. Install the oil filler capl dipstick.
10. Stmi the engine and let it idle for 3- 5
mimltes.
11. 2 -:1 minutes after stopping the engine,
check that the oil level is at the upper
level mark
on the oil filler capl dipstick
with t.he scooter upright. on finn, level
ground. Make sure there are no oil leaks.
If a torque wrench is not used for this
installation, see your Honda dealer as soon
as possible t.o verify proper assembly.
