Basic Operation & Riding
Before starting, select a level surface and lock the parking brake
(page ).
Turn the fuel valve ( ) and ignition switch ( ) to ON ( ).
Confirm the following:
The engine stop switch ( ) is set to RUN ( ).
The transmission is in neutral (neutral indicator ( ) ON).
The high coolant temperature indicator should go off a few seconds
after the ignition switch to ON ( ).
