Excel 500 Cable Specifications
The XI582AH Operator Interface can be connected either to
the or the back of the XC5010C.
— XW582 cable, front connection, length 15 ft (5 m)
— XW583 cable, back connection, length 15 ft (5 m)

The XI584 Operator and Service Computer can be connected
to the front of the XC5010C computer module with the
following cable:
— XW585 cable, length 15 ft (5 m)

NOTE: You can also use a standard null modem cable.
An adapter cable is needed when the same MMI unit
XI582AH or XI584 is used on a site where there is a mix of
XC5010C and XC6010 CPU modules. Always use the new
cables XW582 and XW585 with the XC5010C CPU module
and the additional adapter cable XW584 for connecting to the
XC6010 CPU module.
