Note: In order to leave a configuration parameter unaltered during the modification
procedure, depress the SET key, after having stored the modified value of the
previous parameter, the controller displays the code of the parameter to be left
unaltered. In this manner the controller proceeds and shows the code and then the
value of the parameter following the unaltered one. The changes made relating to
time values are only effective after the currently running timed cycles end, while
changes to the set points are effective immediately.
5.8. Locking / Unlocking the Keypad
Keeping the UP and DOWN keys simultaneously depressed for 10 seconds makes
it possible to lock/unlock access to the configuration parameters menu. The
controller will signal this by either showing the blinking message "PoF” (push-button
OFF = keypad locked) or "Pon" (push-button ON = keypad unlocked). It is very
useful to lock the keyboard in order to avoid tampering with the configuration
parameter values by non-authorised personnel.
Note: The controller will default to “PoF” (keypad locked) if power is interrupted or
switched off.
5.9. Setting and Displaying the Real Time Clock
The Real-Time Clock (RTC) operates on a 24 hour cycle (00:00…23:50) on Icon
models: ICON-111SR, ICON-112SR & ICON-132SR.
1. The current time set in the RTC can be displayed by simultaneously depressing
and releasing the DEFROST and SET keys.
The display will show either two or three numbers. The first one or two numbers
represents the hours, the last number always represents the minutes (displayed
in multiples of 10).
Example: 24 = 02 hours and 40 minutes.
173 = 17 hours and 30 minutes.
2. By depressing the DOWN key it is possible to display the current hours
of the
clock. If you continue to press the key, the setting of the hours is modified and
the value increases in a progressively faster mode.
3. By depressing the UP key it is possible to display the current minutes
of the
clock. If you continue to press the key, the setting of the minutes is modified
and the value increases in a progressively faster mode.
Ten seconds after the last activation of the key, the displayed time disappears and
the display case / cold-room temperature re-appears again.
