1. Detach the clear shield (1) that covers the sensor board cable ZIF connector on the system board.
2. Release the ZIF connector (2) to which the sensor board cable is connected, and then disconnect the sensor
board cable from the system board.
3. Detach the clear shield (3) that covers the sensor board cable ZIF connector on the sensor board.
4. Release the ZIF connector (4) to which the sensor board cable is connected, and then disconnect the sensor
board cable from the sensor board.
5. Detach the sensor board cable (5) from the computer. (The sensor board cable is attached to the computer
with double-sided adhesive.)
6. Remove the sensor board cable.
Reverse this procedure to install the sensor board cable.

Before removing the sensor board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 28).
2. Remove the top cover/keyboard (Top cover/keyboard on page 28).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (Speakers on page 33).
