Removal and Replacement Procedures— Small Form Factor (SFF) Chassis
7.13 Chassis Fan
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 7.1).
2. Remove the access panel (Section 7.3).
3. Remove the fan shroud (Section 7.11).
4. Disconnect the chassis fan power cable from the system board.
5. Remove the four screws 1 that secure the chassis fan to the front of the chassis then, remove
the fan 2.
To install the chassis fan, reverse the removal procedures.
