3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 42).
Remove the magnetic pen slot:

Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (1) that secures the magnetic pen slot to the computer, and then
slide the slot out of the computer (2).
To install themagnetic pen slot, reverse this procedure.
SIM board
To remove the SIM board, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the SIM board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 33).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 33).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 42).
Remove the SIM board:
1. Remove the SIM holder from the side of the computer (1).
2. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the SIM board (2).
3. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (3) that secures the SIM board to the computer.
